So I'm trying to find a place because I REALLY need to be on my own. But the idea of renting an apartment DOES NOT appeal to me. It seems so temporary.. and I don't like the idea of the place not being mine, and then somebody making money off my head every month... oh lorsh no. So I want to buy a house... I have no idea where or how to start.. Maybe I should really start small and do the renting thing. But I know that in the long run, the purchase of a house would be better.
Not to mention 2006 brings all these tax breaks and much more liquid cash. I calculated a $900 savings.. In terms of a rental.. I don't want to exceed $1500 a month and at least semi furnished. For a house, Two bedrooms are fine with room for expansion and a mortgage of maybe $2000 or $2300. Nothing further than St Augustine.. Tunapuna with a push.. I hate traffic. Needs to be close to transportation. I haven't told my parents yet. Just Vik and d rasta. I don't know how they would react.. But there would be time to contemplate that later. Let me find my house/apartment first. Then I worry about the other stuff.
